Information Paul McCartney was the second original Beatle. He was introduced to John and when John met him he was accepted into the group which was then called "The Quarry Men". After a while John and him became very close friends and they learned to trust each other. When the group became popular (playing in America) John and Paul agreed after each song they would have their label "Lennon/McCartney". He was considered the cute Beatle and by some was considered the most popular. During the late 60's Paul was thought to be dead. They thought that he came out from a meeting with the rest of the Beatles and that he was upset about something. Then as the song "A day in the Life", says, "He blew his mind out in a car, he didn't notice that the lights had changed". Several clues were discovered and several rumors were spread some of them follow........ Clues
Near Break up When the Beatles were close to their breakup Paul suggested that the Beatles play small clubs like they did during their voyage for fame. John rejected the idea and commented that the Beatles were over. Soon this became reality. After Break up Paul soon formed a band with his wife called "Wings". They became a very successful group but definitely not as successful as the Beatles. He became an animal rights activist and donated money to many separate things. He is considered the most successful former Beatle. Recently He released an album called "Flaming Pie" which was considered a success. Before that he appeared on a veggie episode of "The Simpsons". He said he would only do the episode if Lisa (the kid who was turning a vegetarian) stayed a vegetarian. He was knighted a few months ago which made him Sir Paul McCartney. He won performer of the week on the cable TV show "VH1". He is also doing the voices for characters in his own cartoon about animal rights. |
