Birth

John Lennon was born during a W.W.II air assault from Nazi, Germany. Right after his birth a bomb exploded outside of the hospital.

Childhood

He was very un-disciplined at school but he seemed to do well during his first years at school, but he failed his final exams.

When he was young his mother died and he was forced to live with his Aunt Mimi. When John became interested in music she bought him a guitar and he started practicing.

John joins a band

After a while of playing on his own John eventually joined a band called "The Quarry Men". After a while of playing he met Paul who he soon became good friends with. Then George came and eventually Ringo.

Beatles

John was considered the leader and the most talented. He seemed to give out a sense of creativity and he struggled during the first few years. He wanted to change Paul's music to have more of a rock and roll sound so when one of them finished a song they would have the other one change it and it would make a great song. That's why most of the songs by the Beatles have the trademark "Lennon/McCartney". They are considered the best songwriters of all time.

During their fame John divorced his wife Cynthia, whom he had married just before they gained fame. When Paul was driving over to comfort Julian he rehearsed his speech. His rehearsing triggered the idea for one of the greatest Beatles songs of all time "Hey Jude". All Paul did was change Julian to Jude and he had the perfect song.

Meanwhile the Beatles stopped performing concerts because they felt that their music wasn't being appreciated. So they recorded in the studio instead. In the studio they recorded such albums as: Abbey Road, Let it be, Revolver, Rubber Soul, The Beatles White Album, Magical Mystery Tour

Break up

The Beatles founded Apple ©, Which by the time of their breakup lost money.

John married the artist Yoko Ono during the later years of the Beatles. She started to appear in the studio with the Beatles which bothered the others and when John and Yoko appeared nude on an album cover Ringo came to him. He said, "John, what are you doing I have to answer for this." "All you have to do is answer the phone Ring.", replied John.

John later said that they all needed to go their own ways and that was the primary cause of their breakup.

Aftermath

John started a band called the Plastic Ono band which released many albums and a very famous song called IMAGINE. He also appeared on a few shows and interviews. In December, 1980 John Lennon signed a record for a man named Mark Chapman. Later John left for the studio. When John got back he was shot in the back 5 times by the same man. He was immediately rushed to a hospital by his wife Yoko and later around 10:00pm he was pronounced dead. Thousands of mourners mourned his death and still do till this day.  His two unfinished songs "Real Love" and "Free as a Bird", were debuted on the First and Second Anthologies which were released in 1995.
